There is longitudinal reinforcing in polyester to limit stretching over distances.

The outer layer is fluted to withstand vigorous farming conditions, making it hard-wearing and thereby increasing its lifespan. It is cut- and abrasion-resistant, UV resistant and able to withstand temperatures from 0° C to 60°C. The hose is marked with the company name and manufacturing date.
